T-ara's Jiyeon Signs With New Agency As Both Singer And Actress

T-ara’s Jiyeon is making a fresh start under a new agency!

On February 18, AnB Group officially announced that Jiyeon had signed an exclusive contract with the agency. (The T-ara member left her previous agency, Partners Park, following the expiration of her contract in July.)

Notably, Jiyeon has been friends with AnB Group CEO Park Sung Hyun for 13 years, starting all the way back from when she first debuted with T-ara in 2009.

AnB Group announced that Jiyeon would be promoting as both a singer and an actress under the agency, stating, “We will be unsparing in our support so that it is possible for actress Park Jiyeon to communicate with many people through a wide variety of great projects, while singer Jiyeon is also able to pursue her musical talent to her heart’s content by working with our subsidiary Needsmusic Entertainment.”

It’s been an exciting month for Jiyeon thus far: just last week, the T-ara member also announced her engagement to professional baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun.
