Update: Super Junior's Ryeowook Diagnosed With COVID-19

Super Junior’s Ryeowook has tested positive for COVID-19.
On February 27, Label SJ released the following statement:
Hello, this is Label SJ.
Super Junior’s Ryeowook has been diagnosed with COVID-19. He received the results of his PCR test on the morning of February 27.
Therefore, he will not be able to participate in some upcoming scheduled performances of his current musical, “Fan Letter,” and some of the promotional activities for Super Junior’s special single album, “The Road: Winter for Spring.”
Ryeowook had completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and was scheduled for his third dose. He is currently resting in self-quarantine and complying with directions from the disease control authorities.
All of the Super Junior members are carrying out their work while being tested regularly for COVID-19 out of precaution. The agency prioritizes our artists’ health and safety above all else, and will faithfully support Ryeowook’s recovery.

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun has officially been diagnosed with COVID-19.
On February 17, Super Junior’s agency Label SJ announced that Kyuhyun had tested positive for COVID-19 using a rapid antigen test and would therefore not be appearing in his musical “Frankenstein” that day. The agency also stated that Kyuhyun had undergone a PCR test and was still awaiting his results.
The following morning, Label SJ announced that Kyuhyun’s PCR test results had come back positive.
The agency released the following statement on February 18:
Hello, this is Label SJ.
The results of the PCR test [for COVID-19] that Super Junior’s Kyuhyun underwent on February 17 came back positive today (February 18).
Kyuhyun previously received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and he currently only has mild symptoms. He has halted all scheduled activities, and he is currently resting in self-isolation while taking all necessary measures in accordance with the guidelines of government health authorities.
All of the Super Junior members and staff who came into contact [with Kyuhyun] have tested negative, and just in case, they are continuously monitoring the state of their health and undergoing frequent tests [for COVID-19].
Our agency considers our artists’ health our top priority, and we will do our utmost to help Kyuhyun recover his health quickly.
Super Junior is currently scheduled to release the special single album “The Road: Winter for Spring” on February 28.
