TREASURE Achieves Highest 1st-Week Sales Of 2022 With New Album

TREASURE’s latest release is officially a hit!

Last week, TREASURE made their long-awaited comeback with their new mini album “THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE” and its title track “JIKJIN.”

On February 22, Hanteo Chart announced that in the first week of its release (February 15 to 21), “THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE” had sold an impressive total of 539,279 copies—more than double TREASURE’s previous first-week sales record of 200,575 set by their 2021 album “THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT.”

Not only did TREASURE break their own personal first-week sales record with “THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE,” but they also achieved the highest-first week sales of any K-pop album released in 2022. The new mini album narrowly managed to beat ENHYPEN‘s repackaged album “DIMENSION : ANSWER” (which sold 514,291 copies in its first week back in January) for the biggest first week of any album this year.
