SEVENTEEN’s Joshua and Jun have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

PLEDIS Entertainment released the following English statement on March 8:

Hello.
This is PLEDIS Entertainment.

We would like to provide you with some information on SEVENTEEN members Joshua and Jun being diagnosed with COVID-19 as well as adjustments in their activities.

Joshua used a self-test kit and tested negative on Monday, March 7. However, he took a PCR test as a proactive measure and was confirmed with COVID-19 on the morning of Tuesday, March 8. Jun took a rapid antigen test as a proactive measure and tested positive on Monday, March 7. He promptly took a PCR test and was confirmed with COVID-19 on the morning of Tuesday, March 8. Joshua and Jun are currently not exhibiting any symptoms and are administering self-treatment at home.

All SEVENTEEN members other than S.Coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo, The8, DK, Seungkwan, and Vernon preemptively took self-test kits on Monday, March 7. All the results came back as negative, and they are not exhibiting any symptoms.

Therefore, it will be difficult for Joshua and Jun to take part in SEVENTEEN’s activities for a while. We will provide you with updates on their future activities.

SEVENTEEN’s The8 is the seventh member to test positive for COVID-19.

PLEDIS Entertainment released the following English statement on March 7:

This is PLEDIS Entertainment.

We would like to provide you with some information on SEVENTEEN member The8 being diagnosed with COVID-19 as well as adjustments in his activities.

The8 tested negative on the self-test kit on Saturday, March 5. However, as he experienced a very mild cough, The8 preemptively took a PCR test on Saturday, March 5 and was confirmed with COVID-19 on the morning of Monday, March 7. The8 is currently not exhibiting any symptoms and is administering self-treatment at home.

We would like to provide you with some information on SEVENTEEN members DK and Seungkwan being diagnosed with COVID-19 as well as adjustments in their activities.

DK took a rapid antigen test as a proactive measure and was tested negative on Friday, March 4. However, as he experienced a mild sore throat, DK preemptively took a PCR test and was confirmed with COVID-19 on the evening of Saturday, March 5. DK is currently not exhibiting symptoms other than a sore throat and is administering self-treatment at home.

Seungkwan took a rapid antigen test as a proactive measure and was tested positive on the morning of Saturday, March 5. He promptly took a PCR test and was confirmed with COVID-19 on the evening of Saturday, March 5. Seungkwan is currently experiencing body aches and is administering self-treatment at home.

All SEVENTEEN members other than S.Coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo and Vernon all preemptively took self-test kits on Saturday, March 5. All the results came back as negative and they are not exhibiting any symptoms.

S.Coups was tested positive on the self-test kit he took on Friday, March 4. He promptly took a PCR test and was confirmed with COVID-19 on Saturday, March 5. S.Coups is currently not exhibiting symptoms other than cough and stuffy nose and is administering self-treatment at home.

All SEVENTEEN members other than Hoshi, Wonwoo and Vernon all preemptively took self-test kits on Friday, the 4th, which all the results came back as negative and are not exhibiting any symptoms.

SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi has tested positive for COVID-19.

On March 3, PLEDIS Entertainment released the following statement:

Hello.

This is PLEDIS Entertainment.

We would like to provide you with information on SEVENTEEN member Hoshi being diagnosed with COVID-19 as well as adjustments in his activities.

Starting the afternoon of March 2 (Wednesday), Hoshi experienced [symptoms of] a cough and a sore throat, so he used a self-testing kit and checked that he tested positive. He immediately carried out a PCR test, and on the morning of March 3 (Thursday), he tested positive for COVID-19. Currently, Hoshi has no other symptoms besides a cough and a sore throat, so he is receiving treatment at home.

All the SEVENTEEN members besides Wonwoo and Vernon checked that they tested negative through the tests they preemptively carried out using self-testing kits on the afternoon of March 2 (Wednesday), and they do not have any symptoms.

Due to this, it will be difficult for Hoshi to participate in SEVENTEEN’s future scheduled activities in the meantime. We will inform you once more when the artist will resume his activities.

On February 25, PLEDIS Entertainment released the following statement:

Hello. This is PLEDIS Entertainment.

We would like to provide you with some information on SEVENTEEN member Vernon being diagnosed with COVID-19 as well as adjustments in his activities.

Vernon tested positive on the self-test kit after experiencing a sore throat on Thursday, February 24. He promptly took a PCR test and was confirmed with COVID-19 on the morning of Friday, February 25. Vernon is currently not exhibiting any extraordinary symptoms other than a sore throat and is administering self-treatment at home.

Vernon came in contact with DK and Dino on Tuesday, February 22, and with S.Coups and Woozi on Wednesday, February 23. However, they only met for a brief moment while wearing masks and did not come in close contact. DK, Dino, S.Coups, and Woozi all preemptively took a self-test kit and rapid antigen test. All the results came back as negative, and they are not exhibiting any symptoms.

Therefore, it will be difficult for Vernon to take part in SEVENTEEN’s activities for a while. We will provide you with updates on his future activities.
