Watch: Lee Yo Won, Chu Ja Hyun, And More Display True Friendship In New Drama About Mothers

Upcoming JTBC drama “Green Mothers Club” (literal title) is gearing up for its premiere!

“Green Mothers Club” is about the dangerous relationships in a neighborhood association of parents at a local elementary school. The women in the association, who had come to think of themselves only as “mothers,” will reveal previously hidden secrets and learn about the meaning of “friendship” in adulthood.

Lee Yo Won will star as Lee Eun Pyo, a woman with a strong sense of pride in her high-class education. Chu Ja Hyun will play Byun Choon Hee, the beautiful trendsetter of the parents’ association who has the ability to get her hands on insider information. Kim Kyu Ri will take the role of Seo Jin Ha, Lee Eun Pyo’s friend-turned-rival, while Jang Hye Jin will play Kim Young Mi, Byun Choon Hee’s nemesis. Joo Min Kyung will turn into Park Yoon Joo, Lee Eun Pyo’s younger cousin.

The teaser features all five mothers. In the beginning, Byun CHoon Hee, Seo Jin Ha, Kim Young Mi, and Park Yoon Joo are walking forward with their signature “Green Mothers Club” vests and flags they use to control traffic for the safety of their children. They walk boldly forward as they exude confidence that assures that nothing will get in their way of their passionate motherhood.

Soon, they are joined by Lee Eun Pyo. She makes eye contact with some of the mothers, and her lips curve upwards into a warm smile. The caption reads, “A story of mothers’ true womance,” hinting that fans can look forward to a story about the strong bond of mothers. Their close chemistry amps up excitement for next month’s premiere.
