Watch: Kim Hee Sun, SF9's Rowoon, Lee Soo Hyuk, And Yoon Ji On Are Special Grim Reapers In "Tomorrow" Teaser

A new kind of grim reapers is in town!

On March 7, MBC released a new teaser of its upcoming drama “Tomorrow” that revolves around grim reapers.

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Tomorrow” tells the story of Choi Joon Woong (SF9’s Rowoon), who gets into an unfortunate accident while struggling to find a job. As a result, he crosses paths with grim reapers Goo Ryun (Kim Hee Sun) and Lim Ryoong Goo (Yoon Ji On), who work together to save the lives of those who are contemplating suicide, and he winds up joining their team in the underworld as their youngest member.

The teaser begins with Choi Joon Woong witnessing chaos unfold before him. One man falls off his motorcycle, which spirals towards a helpless woman. Choi Joon Woong screams “no” as he rushes towards her. At the snap of Goo Ryun’s fingers, things come to a complete stop. Stunned, he asks, “What did you do?” She calmly replies, “I saved her. I’m a grim reaper who saves humans.” That sentence alone hints that this is not an ordinary story about grim reapers, who are known for representing death.

Goo Ryun shows her charismatic side as she deals with ruthless gangsters, and Choi Joon Woong depicts his warmth as he eagerly tells someone, “I’ll do whatever I can to help you.” Fans are also intrigued by the tense war of nerves between Lim Ryoong Goo and Park Joong Gil (Lee Soo Hyuk) as they get into a physical fight. The clip ends with the Jade Emperor (played by Kim Hae Sook) saying, “Welcome to Joomadeung,” which is the afterlife monopoly.

“Tomorrow” will premiere on March 25 at 9:50 p.m. KST. Check out the full teaser below!
