"Kill Heel" Premieres To No. 1 Ratings
tvN’s newest drama “Kill Heel”is off to a strong start!
“Kill Heel” is a drama about the fierce battles between three ambitious women in the competitive world of home shopping networks. Kim Ha Neul stars as show host Woo Hyun, who strives to escape her stagnant life by becoming the top host at UNI Home Shopping, while Lee Hye Young stars as UNI Home Shopping executive Mo Ran, who climbed from humble beginnings to reach the top. Kim Sung Ryung stars as the elegant Ok Sun, a top show host married to a famous politician who seems to have the perfect life.
On March 9, the new drama premiered at the top of its time slot. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “Kill Heel” scored an average nationwide rating of 4.4 percent and a peak of 5.4 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all cable channels.
“Kill Heel” also took first place in its time slot among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored a nationwide average of 2.1 percent and a peak of 2.7 percent.
Meanwhile, both JTBC’s “Thirty-Nine” and iHQ and MBN’s “Sponsor” did not air last night due to coverage of the South Korean presidential election. “Sponsor” will air its next episode on March 10, while “Thirty-Nine” will return to air on March 16.
