Suzy In Talks For Webtoon-Based Drama "The Girl Downstairs"

Suzy is working on selecting her next drama!

On March 10, it was reported that the actress will take the lead role in the new Netflix series “The Girl Downstairs” (working title).

In response to the report, her agency Management SOOP commented, “Suzy is reviewing the offer to star in the Netflix series ‘The Girl Downstairs’.”

Created by Songah Min, “The Girl Downstairs” is a popular Naver webtoon about an ex-idol Lee Du Na and college freshman Lee Won Joon who end up living together in a shared housing.

Suzy has been offered the leading role of Lee Du Na, the main vocalist of the girl group Dream Sweet who suddenly decided to retire. She is currently attending Minsong University and is part of the Department of Theater and Film. She is an unpredictable character with gorgeous looks and a unique aura.

“The Girl Downstairs” will be directed by Lee Jung Hyo, who has worked on dramas including “Crash Landing on You,” “Life on Mars,” and “Romance is a Bonus Book.”
