Watch: Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, And Kim Ji Hyun Film With Ease On The Happy Set Of "Thirty-Nine"
“Thirty-Nine” has released a new making video!
JTBC’s “Thirty-Nine” stars Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun as three friends who met in their second year of high school and are now on the verge of turning 40.
Son Ye Jin plays Cha Mi Jo, the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam. Jeon Mi Do plays Jung Chan Young, an acting teacher who previously dreamed of becoming an actress, and Kim Ji Hyun stars as Jang Joo Hee, a department store cosmetics manager.
The clip begins with a conversation between Son Ye Jin and Jeon Mi Do as they share a meal. While prepping for the scene, the two actresses rave about how good the food is. As Jeon Mi Do takes one last bite, a staff member calls out, “We’re going to prepare [for filming] now.” With her mouth full, Jeon Mi Do makes everyone giggle as she responds, “I was preparing.”
For the next scene, the two actresses are joined by Kim Ji Hyun to film their accidental gathering at Chan Young’s house. During rehearsals, Jeon Mi Do practices hitting Kim Ji Hyun with a cushion and worries about hurting her. Kim Ji Hyun nonchalantly responds with a laugh, “It doesn’t hurt at all. Hit me however you want.” Before they begin filming, Son Ye Jin impresses as she continues suggesting ideas and line improvisations for the scene.
The trio then seamlessly move through takes and finish with the cute scene where they snuggle up together before bed.
