Weeekly Breaks Their Own 1st-Week Sales Record With "Play Game : AWAKE"

Weeekly has reached new heights with their latest comeback!

On March 7, Weeekly released their first single album “Play Game : AWAKE” along with the title track “Ven para.” According to Hanteo Chart, “Play Game : AWAKE” has surpassed 80,000 album sales in its first week, marking a career high for Weeekly.

Not only did Weeekly break their first-day album sales record with “Play Game : AWAKE,” within only two days of its release, the album had set a new first-week sales record for the group.

The record was previously held by their last album “Play Game : Holiday,” which sold 31,000 albums in its first week. This means that their new personal best with “Play Game : AWAKE” is 2.6 times higher than their previous record. With each comeback, Weeekly’s first-week album sales continue to increase and they’ve now broken their own record five times, showcasing the group’s impressive growth.

The music video for “Ven para,” the title track off “Play Game : AWAKE,” is also seeing success, reaching over 10 million views in three days, and 20 million views in less than a week.

Weeekly recently completed their first week of promotions for “Ven para” and will continue later this week.
