As the relationship between Kang Tae Mu and Shin Ha Ri slowly starts to heat up, here are five of their best romance scenes from “A Business Proposal” so far!
1. Their chaotic first blind date
Shin Ha Ri’s relationship with Kang Tae Mu begins when she steps in for her friend Jin Young Seo at their blind date. She’s shocked to learn that Kang Tae Mu is actually the CEO of the company she works for, but Shin Ha Ri quickly recovers and does everything she can to make a scene and get dumped.
She nonchalantly asks him, “This is your first time meeting such a crazy person, right?” However, Kang Tae Mu instead takes interest in her odd personality. Since he hates wasting time, Kang Tae Mu proposes marriage right away. This blind date scene showcases Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Sejeong’s incredible chemistry and gives a peek of what is to come from the unlikely couple.
2. Their accidental first kiss
In order to keep up her act with Kang Tae Mu, Shin Ha Ri starts living a double life as she adopts the fake name Shin Geum Hee. As a way to escape blind dates, Kang Tae Mu suggests that he and Shin Ha Ri begin a fake relationship, and while arguing, the two fall over and accidentally have their first kiss.
After accidentally kissing and then accidentally getting hit on the forehead, Kang Tae Mu uses these as an excuse to start a fake relationship with Shin Ha Ri. Afterwards, viewers got an exciting closer look at Kang Tae Mu’s real feelings when he was later pictured daydreaming about the accidental kiss.
3. Their fake first anniversary date
Once Kang Tae Mu and Shin Ha Ri agree on their fake relationship, they must keep up the act in front of Kang Tae Mu’s grandfather Kang Da Goo (Lee Deok Hwa) so they hold a celebration for their fake first anniversary. As they pretend to be happy and in love, Shin Ha Ri discovers a surprisingly kind side to Kang Tae Mu, while their constant conversation leads to him starting to develop feelings for her.
When Shin Ha Ri tells Kang Tae Mu, “Our fake first anniversary date was fun,” he warmed viewers’ hearts by omitting the word “fake” and responding, “Our first anniversary date was fun.”
4. Ha Ri’s drunken confession
Eventually, Kang Tae Mu learns that his fake date Shin Geum Hee is his company employee Shin Ha Ri. As petty revenge, he starts tormenting Shin Ha Ri, but starts to feel bad when he sees her having a hard time.
Amid that situation, Shin Ha Ri drunkenly tells Kang Tae Mu, “Can I tell you a secret? Shin Ha Ri is Shin Geum Hee. Saying this makes me feel so refreshed. I’m sorry.” Although he’s initially angry, Kang Tae Mu slowly resolves his emotions and in turn realizes that he has feelings for Shin Ha Ri.
5. The heart-fluttering ending scene of “Honey!”
Now that he’s discovered the truth, Kang Tae Mu officially starts to try and win over Shin Ha Ri. However, as the two are starting to grow closer, Kang Tae Mu makes a mistake with regards to a rain-related trauma. Drenched from the rain, Shin Ha Ri ends up running into her friends at the hotel, who think she’s on vacation with her boyfriend.
Thankfully, Kang Tae Mu saves Shin Ha Ri from her sticky situation as he appears out of nowhere and calls out, “Honey!”
