Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga Young may be uniting for a new drama!
After it was revealed earlier in the day that Yoo Yeon Seok is in talks to star in the JTBC drama “Understanding of Love” (literal title), an industry representative additionally reported that Moon Ga Young will be starring in the drama.
The actress’s agency KeyEast Entertainment commented in response, “JTBC’s ‘Understanding of Love’ is a project that [Moon Ga Young] is positively reviewing.”
Moon Ga Young has been offered the role of Ahn Soo Young, a fourth-year chief bank teller at Nara Bank’s Yeongpo branch. Known as the goddess of Yeongpo branch, she possesses gorgeous looks and a sweet voice. She started off as a part-time teller and is now a fourth-year chief, but she seems to be forever stuck at that level.
After debuting as a child actress in 2006, Moon Ga Young has built her career with more recent dramas including “Welcome to Waikiki 2,” “Find Me in Your Memory,” and “True Beauty.” She is currently filming for “Link : Eat and Love to Kill” (literal title) with Yeo Jin Goo.

On March 22, an industry representative reported that Yoo Yeon Seok will be starring as the lead of JTBC’s new drama “Understanding of Love” (literal title).
In response to the report, a representative of Yoo Yeon Seok’s agency King Kong by Starship shared, “Yoo Yeon Seok has received an offer to star in JTBC’s new drama ‘Understanding of Love,’ and he is reviewing the offer.”
Based on a novel of the same name by Lee Hyuk Jin, “Understanding of Love” takes place at Nara Bank’s Yeongpo branch, which is celebrating the 99th anniversary of its foundation. The story focuses on the scandalous office romance between the characters Ha Sang Soo, Ahn Soo Young, Park Mi Kyung, and Jung Jong Hyun.
Yoo Yeon Seok is in talks to play Ha Sang Soo, the senior head of the comprehensive consultation team at Nara Bank’s Yeongpo branch. Ha Sang Soo has had this position for three years already, and he is a handsome, intelligent, and sturdy person who will not waver in the face of life’s difficulties. Although he is an upright character, Ha Sang Soo is not cold or too formal but rather warmhearted with a humorous side. Not to mention, he has an athletic form fit for a national athlete rather than a bank employee.
