MONSTA X's Kihyun Achieves Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Male Soloist In 2022 With Debut Album "VOYAGER"

MONSTA X’s Kihyun’s solo debut is off to an exciting start!

Last week, Kihyun made his solo debut with his first single album “VOYAGER” and its title track of the same name.

According to Hanteo Chart, “VOYAGER” sold an impressive total of 135,436 copies in the first week of its release (March 15 to 21), achieving the highest first-week sales of any album by a male soloist released this year.

On top of achieving the highest first-week sales of any male soloist in 2022, Kihyun has now also become the male K-pop solo artist with the eighth-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history—bested only by EXO‘s Baekhyun, Kim Ho Joong, Kang Daniel, EXO’s D.O., EXO’s Kai, EXO’s Suho, and TVXQ‘s Yunho.
