"The Witch" Sequel Responds To Report Of June Premiere
The long-awaited sequel to the film “The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion” is gearing up for its premiere!
On March 25, Newsen reported that “The Witch: The Other One” will premiere in June in order to boost the film industry, which had slowed down due to COVID-19.
In response to the report, a representative from “The Witch: The Other One” commented, “We are considering various possibilities including June.” They continued, “Nothing besides the cast lineup has been decided.”
“The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion” is a 2018 mystery action film about a questionable accident that leaves numerous dead. The film tells the story that begins as a mysterious figure approaches high school student Ja Yoon (Kim Da Mi), who has lived a normal life without remembering the past after escaping alone the night of the accident.
It was previously confirmed that rookie actress Shin Si Ah, who was chosen among 1,408 competitors, will be starring as the lead of “The Witch: The Other Side.” Park Eun Bin will also be starring in the film, and Kim Da Mi and Lee Jong Suk will be making special appearances. The sequel will be helmed by director Park Hoon Jung from the first film.
