Baekho Tests Positive For COVID-19

Baekho has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On March 26, Pledis Entertainment released the following statement:

Hello. This is Pledis Entertainment.

We would like to provide you with some information about Pledis Entertainment’s artist Baekho being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Baekho tested positive on a self-testing kit he preemptively took on Saturday, March 26. He promptly took a rapid antigen test and was diagnosed with COVID-19. Baekho is currently not exhibiting extraordinary symptoms and is administering self-treatment at home.

Therefore, Baekho will adjust his schedule and focus on treatment for a while. We will provide you with updates on his activity resumption.

We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of Baekho while placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists. We will also continue to fully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities.

The exclusive artist contract with NU’EST concluded as of March 14. JR, Aron, and Ren left the company, while Baekho and Minhyun decided to renew their contracts. On March 15, the group released their farewell album titled “Needle & Bubble” along with the music video for the title track.
