Super Junior’s Shindong has tested positive for COVID-19.
On March 26, Label SJ released the following statement:
Hello, this is Label SJ.
We are informing you about Super Junior’s Shindong testing positive for COVID-19.
Shindong underwent PCR testing to prepare for departure for an overseas activity, but he was diagnosed with COVID-19 again on March 26.
Therefore, we ask for the understanding of the fans that he will not be able to participate in “SUPER JUNIOR Japan Special Event 2022 ~ Return of the KING ~” in Japan.
Shindong previously received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and he has currently halted all his scheduled activities and is in self-isolation in accordance with the guidelines of the government health authorities.
All of the Super Junior members are carrying out their schedules while being tested preemptively for COVID-19. The agency prioritizes our artists’ health and safety above all else and will faithfully support Shindong’s speedy recovery.
Thank you.
This is Shindong’s second time testing positive for COVID-19.
Get well soon, Shindong!
