(G)I-DLE's "TOMBOY" Enters At No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2022, March Week 4
A brand new song debuts at No. 1 this week!
(G)I-DLE scores their second No. 1 song on our chart with “TOMBOY,” which had high debuts on all chart sources upon its release. “TOMBOY” has also won on five music shows so far. Congratulations to (G)I-DLE!
“TOMBOY” is the title track from (G)I-DLE’s first full album “I NEVER DIE.” Jeon Soyeon wrote the lyrics and also participated in the composition for the song, which expresses (G)I-DLE’s confident attitude with straightforward lyrics.
Holding steady at No. 2 is STAYC’s “RUN2U.” Last week’s champion, Taeyeon’s “INVU,” is down two spots to No. 3 this week.
Two more songs newly entered the top 10 this week.
Moving up 33 spots to No. 4 is Jay Park’s “GANADARA” featuring IU. Jay Park participated in the composition and lyrics for this R&B song, with the title referring to the beginning of the Korean alphabet.
Debuting at No. 9 is Brave Girls’ “Thank You,” the title track of their sixth mini album. “Thank You” is a retro pop song with a disco punk song, and the lyrics express gratitude to the people who did not give up on Brave Girls and stayed by their side.
