Stray Kids Achieves 7th Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Boy Group In Hanteo History

Stray Kids is soaring to new heights with their latest release!

On March 18, Stray Kids made their highly-anticipated comeback with their new mini album “ODDINARY” and its accompanying title track “MANIAC.”

According to Hanteo Chart, “ODDINARY” sold an impressive total of 853,021 copies in the first week of its release (March 18 to 24). Not only did “ODDINARY” achieve the highest first-week sales of any album released thus far in 2022, but it also smashed Stray Kids’ previous first-week sales record of 641,589 set by their 2021 album “NOEASY.”

Additionally, with this latest achievement, Stray Kids has become the boy group with the seventh-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history—bested only by BTS, SEVENTEEN, NCT DREAM, NCT, NCT 127, and EXO.

“ODDINARY” also achieved the 16th-highest first-week sales of any album by any artist in Hanteo history, ranking only behind albums by BTS, SEVENTEEN, NCT DREAM, NCT, NCT 127, EXO, and EXO’s Baekhyun.
