Update: 4 Members Of MONSTA X Test Positive For COVID-19

Following Hyungwon’s and Kihyun’s diagnoses, MONSTA X’s Minhyuk and I.M have also tested positive for COVID-19.
On March 31, Starship Entertainment released the following statement:
Hello. This is Starship Entertainment.
We are informing you that our agency’s artists MONSTA X’s Minhyuk and I.M tested positive for COVID-19 today (March 31) through preemptively taken rapid antigen tests.
Minhyuk and I.M have completed three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and they have no symptoms other than mild sore throats. They have currently halted all scheduled activities, and they are receiving treatment at home in keeping with government health authorities’ guidelines.
Considering the artists’ health and safety as foremost, the currently scheduled activities will be adjusted, and we will update you of the changed schedule through an additional announcement.
The agency will thoroughly follow the quarantine guidelines, and we will do our best so that the artists can focus on recovery.

Two days after Hyungwon’s diagnosis, MONSTA X’s Kihyun has now also tested positive for COVID-19.
On March 30, Starship Entertainment released the following statement:
Hello, this is Starship Entertainment.
Today (March 30), our artist MONSTA X’s Kihyun had symptoms of a sore throat, so he underwent a rapid antigen test for COVID-19, and his test results came back positive.
Kihyun previously received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and at the moment, he has temporarily halted all scheduled activities and is undergoing treatment at home, separate from the other MONSTA X members, in accordance with the guidelines of government health authorities. We will make another announcement later on regarding changes to Kihyun’s schedule.
We will adhere strictly to the guidelines of health authorities and do our utmost to help our artist focus entirely on his recovery.

Hyungwon has completed three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. He has currently halted all scheduled activities, and he is receiving treatment at home in keeping with the government health authorities’ guidelines.
We will consider the health and safety of the artist foremost, so we ask for your understanding on inevitably having to delay the April 11 release of MONSTA X’s mini album “SHAPE of LOVE” as well as the reveal of its relevant content.
