Horror Film Starring Shownu, Arin, Minhyuk, Jisoo, Ju Haknyeon, SeolA, Exy, And More Confirms Premiere Date
“Seoul Ghost Story” (literal title) has officially confirmed its premiere date!
The omnibus-style horror film “Seoul Ghost Story” is a modern-day reinterpretation of different ghost stories. It deals with the vivid everyday life horrors that can be easily encountered in familiar places around subjects like noise between floors, secondhand furniture, mannequins, and social media. The film will hit theatres on April 27.
The project boasts an incredibly star-studded lineup of Kim Do Yoon from “Peninsula” and “Hellbound,” Lee Young Jin from “Memento Mori, Oh Ryoong from “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food,” Lee Soo Min from “The Dude in Me,” Lee Yul Eum from “Nevertheless,” and Jung Won Chang from “The Uncanny Counter.”
“Seoul Ghost Story” also stars idols like Golden Child’s Jaehyun, WJSN’s SeolA and Exy, MONSTA X’s Shownu, Oh My Girl’s Arin, AleXa, THE BOYZ’s Ju Haknyeon, Lovelyz’s Jisoo, BTOB’s Minhyuk, and Hoya (Lee Ho Won). Besides Minhyuk and Hoya, this will be the silver-screen debut for all these stars.
Although the cast was confirmed last May and filming was completed by last April, the official premiere date for “Seoul Ghost Story” was only recently announced. Last year, the segment “Urban Myths: Tooth Worms” starring Hoya garnered high praise after being invited to various global film festivals including the 25th Fantasia Film Festival and the 13th Celluloid Screams: Sheffield Horror Film Festival.
“Seoul Ghost Story” will premiere in theatres on April 27.
