April Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from March 3 to April 3.
MBC’s “How Do You Play?” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,572,479, marking a 35.66 percent increase in its score since March. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Running Man” and “PD,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “phone call,” “battle,” and “compete.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 83.51 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “Running Man” rose to second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 5,119,700, marking a 32.60 percent rise in its score since last month.
Finally, MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) came in third place for April with a brand reputation index of 4,295,873, marking a modest 8.50 percent increase in its score since March.
