Kim Soo Hyun's Agency Denies Reports Of His Casting In New Drama By Writer Of "My Love From The Star" And "The Producers"
Kim Soo Hyun’s agency has clarified reports of his appearance in an upcoming drama.
On April 7, it was reported that Kim Soo Hyun would be reuniting with Park Ji Eun, the writer of his past dramas “My Love From the Star” and “The Producers,” as the lead in her new drama.
Later this day, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency Gold Medalist clarified, “We’ve just received schedule inquiries. We haven’t received any official offers, such as a proposal or script.”
The drama in question is writer Park Ji Eun’s latest work titled “Queen of Tears” (literal translation) which is reportedly about a chaebol family. It will be directed by Lee Eung Bok of “Descendants of the Sun,” “Goblin,” “Mr. Sunshine,” and “Sweet Home.” Other works by Park Ji Eun include “Crash Landing on You,” and “The Legend of the Blue Sea.” Earlier this week, IU’s agency confirmed that she had turned down an offer for the lead role in this drama.
