iKON is finally back!

On May 3 at 6 p.m. KST, iKON returned with their new mini album “FLASHBACK” along with the music video for the title track.

With lyrics by Bobby, “BUT YOU” reinterprets ’80s pop music with a modern sound. Creating a retro atmosphere, the lyrics honestly confess the feelings of being unable to forget a lover after breaking up.

Notably, the fourth track, “GOLD,” was co-composed by WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon, and iKON’s Bobby joined him in penning the lyrics for the song.

The sixth and final track, “AT EASE,” which will only be available on the CD version of the mini album, was similarly co-composed by WINNER’s Song Mino (with Song Mino and Bobby also co-writing the lyrics).

Get ready: iKON is finally coming back!

On April 11 at midnight KST, YG Entertainment officially announced that iKON was gearing up to make their long-awaited return.

Although the group has not yet revealed their comeback date, they did drop a first teaser poster that announced a new album was “coming soon.”

iKON’s last comeback was over a year ago, when the group released the digital single “Why Why Why” in March 2021, and their last comeback with a physical album was over two years ago, when they dropped the mini album “i DECIDE” and its title track “Dive” in February 2020.
