Lee Joon And Kang Han Na Experience Turbulent Moments In Their Romance In "Bloody Heart"

Lee Joon and Kang Han Na of “Bloody Heart” will turn into the Romeo and Juliet couple of the Joseon era!

KBS 2TV’s “Bloody Heart” is a fictional historical drama about the bloody political romance between Lee Tae (Lee Joon), a king who has to abandon the woman he loves to survive, and Yoo Jung (Kang Han Na), a woman who has to become the queen to survive.

Lee Joon portrays the role of king Lee Tae who dreams of an absolute monarchy for his own survival. Lee Tae believes that any means taken for this goal is justifiable and if necessary, he will not hesitate to take an illegal or dishonest route. However, he is forced to choose between the monarchy and love once he falls into a heated political battle against Yoo Jung, his former lover from his younger days.

Kang Han Na plays the free-spirited Yoo Jung whose mindset is a bit ahead of her time. Yoo Jung is a bold woman who has everything, from excellent resourcefulness to innate intelligence. When she meets Lee Tae, she experiences more catastrophe in her already eventful life and gets caught up in palace affairs.

The newly released photos show Lee Tae and Yoo Jung in a friendly atmosphere. He looks at her with a small smile, and she reciprocates with a bright beam.

However, more stills depict Lee Tae and Yoo Jung in a different atmosphere. Lee Tae exudes icy vibes as his eyes glow with fierceness. Yoo Jung looks shocked to see something, and for some reason, the air grows thick with tension.

The drama’s producers shared, “Please look forward to the heartbreaking romance between Lee Joon and Kang Han Na, who will portray the Joseon version of Romeo and Juliet. In particular, please check out the turbulent story of how Lee Tae and Yoo Jung, who are in love with each other, end up in a political conflict.”
