Lee Se Hee Confirmed Along With EXO's D.O. For New KBS Drama About Prosecutors

Lee Se Hee will be joining EXO’s D.O. in the upcoming KBS drama “Prosecutor Jin’s Victory” (literal title, also translating to “True Swordsmanship”)!

On April 13, a source from KBS stated, “Lee Se Hee, who received love for her passionate acting as the role of Park Dan Dan in ‘Young Lady and Gentleman,’ which wrapped up with a marvelous record of 38.2 percent in viewership ratings, will be joining [the drama].”

“Prosecutor Jin’s Victory” is a story about a prosecutor named Jin Jung (D.O.) who is armed with bad manners and delinquency. He breaks down the sanctuaries created by wealth and power, and he even takes down the greedy people living in those sanctuaries. Jin Jung uses expedient methods over conventional ones, tricks over standard procedures, and delinquency over sincerity in order to stop the corrupt authorities from undermining society. With its refreshing sense of justice, the drama will make viewers forget about the frustrating reality.

The upcoming drama will be helmed by director Kim Sung Ho of Netflix’s “Move to Heaven” and penned by scriptwriter Lim Young Bin who co-wrote JTBC’s “Sketch.”

Lee Se Hee will be playing the role of Shin Ah Ra, a senior prosecutor at the criminal investigation department of the Central District Prosecutors’ Office. With her tidy manner of cleaning things up and her ability to assess situations objectively, Shin Ah Ra has become the right-hand woman of the office head. Furthermore, Shin Ah Ra has great sense when it comes to politics and remarkable social skills, allowing her to maintain good relations with her peers, seniors, and juniors at work as well as with the prosecution executives. Although she appears to be a completely different sort from the crazy Jin Jung, Shin Ah Ra will worry for him and shield him more than anyone else.

The actress recently won Best New Actress at the 2021 KBS Drama Awards for her performance in “Young Lady and Gentleman.” After making her debut in 2019 through the web drama “Fight Hard, Love Harder,” Lee Se Hee also starred in JTBC’s “Live On” and tvN’s “Hospital Playlist 2.” Viewers are already anticipating her next transformation in “Prosecutor Jin’s Victory.”

The production team shared, “With her refreshing and charming visuals as well as her flawless acting skills, Lee Se Hee will once again take over the small screen.
