Dreamcatcher Becomes 5th K-Pop Girl Group In History To Hit No. 1 On U.S. iTunes Top Albums Chart
Dreamcatcher has achieved an exciting career first with their latest album!
On April 12 at 6 p.m. KST, Dreamcatcher made their highly-anticipated comeback with their new studio album “Apocalypse : Save us” and its powerful title track “MAISON.” Immediately upon its release, the album soared to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries all over the world.
Less than a day after its release, “Apocalypse : Save us” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 20 different regions across the globe, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Sweden, Vietnam, Romania, Ecuador, Latvia, Moldova, Bahrain, and Brunei.
Not only is Dreamcatcher the first K-pop girl group to hit No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes Top Albums chart this year, but they are also only the fifth K-pop girl group in history ever to top the chart at all (following Red Velvet, TWICE, LOONA, and BLACKPINK).
