'From Now On, Showtime!' Ratings Rise For 2nd Episode + 'My Liberation Notes' Hits New All-Time High

MBC’s “From Now On, Showtime!” is on the rise!

“From Now On, Showtime!” Is a new fantasy rom-com that tells the centuries-long love story of Cha Cha Woong, a popular magician who can summon ghosts (played by Park Hae Jin), and Go Seul Hae, a passionate police constable who has her own supernatural powers (played by Jin Ki Joo).

On April 24, the new drama enjoyed a significant increase in viewership for its second episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest broadcast of “From Now On, Showtime!” scored an average nationwide rating of 3.6 percent.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s “My Liberation Notes” also climbed to its highest viewership ratings yet last night. The drama’s latest episode scored an average nationwide rating of 3.8 percent, marking a considerable jump from the previous night and setting a new personal record for the show.

tvN’s “Our Blues” rose to an average nationwide rating of 7.7 percent for its latest episode, while TV Chosun’s “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 3″—which airs in the same time slot—trailed close behind with an average nationwide rating of 7.5 percent.

KBS’s “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won” soared to an average nationwide rating of 11.3 percent for the night, and OCN’s “A Superior Day” dipped to a nationwide average of 0.8 percent.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “It’s Beautiful Now” continued its reign as the most-watched program of Sunday with an average nationwide rating of 24.4 percent.
