Im Soo Hyang And Sung Hoon Share An Unexpected Encounter At The OB-GYN Clinic In "Woori The Virgin"
SBS’s upcoming drama “Woori the Virgin” shared new stills of Im Soo Hyang and Sung Hoon!
“Woori the Virgin” is about a woman named Oh Woo Ri who is strictly maintaining her chastity before marriage but ends up pregnant after an accident occurs during a medical exam. Im Soo Hyang stars as the titular Woo Ri, while Sung Hoon plays Raphael, the CEO of a large company and the biological father of Woo Ri’s child. “Woori the Virgin” is a Korean remake of the American rom-com “Jane the Virgin,” which is based on a Venezuelan telenovela.
The new stills capture Oh Woo Ri and Raphael looking flustered as they run into each other at the OB-GYN (obstetrician-gynecologist) clinic. Raphael has his hands modestly together with a pitiful expression as if he has something to ask of Oh Woo Ri, raising questions about their relationship.
However, another still captures the two closer together looking much more comfortable with each other than before. Sporting different hairstyles, their expressions are also more relaxed as they gaze at each other in a heart-fluttering manner. Oh Woo Ri and Raphael are intertwined with each other in a special way since the past, making viewers more curious about what will happen to their relationship in the future.
The production team shared, “Actors Im Soo Hyang and Sung Hoon, who reunited together in a drama for the first time in a while, had exceptional acting chemistry that brought the set to life. Since they didn’t need time to get closer to one another, the two actors could perfectly immerse themselves into the characters of Oh Woo Ri and Raphael, and their chemistry was captured as is on camera. Please show lots of interest for Im Soo Hyang and Sung Hoon who will deliver laughs and touching emotions through the small screen with their phenomenal acting chemistry.”
“Woori the Virgin” will premiere on May 9 at 10 p.m. KST. Watch a teaser for the drama here!
