Get ready for a new case in MBC’s “Tomorrow”!
Warning: mention of individuals contemplating suicide.
Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Tomorrow” is a drama starring SF9’s Rowoon as Choi Joon Woong, a mortal who gets into an unfortunate accident while struggling to find a job. As a result, he crosses paths with grim reapers Goo Ryun (Kim Hee Sun) and Lim Ryoong Goo (Yoon Ji On), who work together to save the lives of those who are contemplating suicide, and he winds up joining their team in the underworld as their youngest member.
Spoilers
Previously, the Crisis Management Team had the mission to save a villainous broker (played by Min Jin Woong) who found great pleasure in seeing other people die. He drank poison to take his own life, and they had to choose whether to save him or not. At first, Choi Joon Woong was adamantly against saving his life, but he eventually called an ambulance for help.
The Crisis Management Team will deal with an unusual subject next. This time, they will come across a suicidal dog that has a high level of depression. The newly released stills show a cute, elderly dog named Kongyi sitting between Goo Ryun and Lim Ryoong Goo. They ponder about how they will save its life, while Choi Joon Woong looks worried as he struggles to find out if anyone knows it. The collar around Kongyi’s neck hint that it does have an owner, raising questions about why it decided to die.
The next episode of “Tomorrow” will air on April 29 at 9:55 p.m. KST.
