Park Bo Gum To Host 58th Baeksang Arts Awards As His First Activity After His Military Discharge

Park Bo Gum is coming back from the military, and his agency Blossom Entertainment has confirmed his first activity!

Previously, it was reported that the Baeksang Arts Awards offered Park Bo Gum an MC spot in this year’s ceremony and he recently accepted the offer.

On April 29, the actor’s agency Blossom Entertainment confirmed, “Actor Park Bo Gum is about to be discharged from the military, and he is planning to greet [fans through the Baeksang Arts Awards as his first activity after his discharge.”

Park Bo Gum wasn’t able to join the MC lineup with Suzy and Shin Dong Yup at last year’s event, but this time, he’ll be able to host the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards with them.

Park Bo Gum enlisted for his mandatory military service on August 31, 2020, and the official date of his discharge is April 30, 2022.

The 58th Baeksang Arts Awards will be broadcast live on May 6 at 7:45 p.m. KST via JTBC. Check out the final nominees here!
