Previously on “My Liberation Notes,” Yeom Mi Jung (Kim Ji Won) and Mr. Gu (Son Seok Gu) began to open their hearts to one another and influence each other’s lives. In the process of “worshipping” Yeom Mi Jung, Mr. Gu attempted to become a different person, finally becoming motivated to clean up his house and start making changes in his life. He also began smiling when she was around, which in turn put a smile on viewers’ faces as well.
Meanwhile, Yeom Mi Jung became more cheerful because of her interactions with Mr. Gu, and she even decided to start being friendlier to her colleagues at work.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Yeom Mi Jung and Mr. Gu look completely relaxed as they sit side by side on a bus, highlighting just how comfortable these two strangers have become with one another.
Another photo captures the neighbors alone at night at Mr. Gu’s house, exchanging glances as the romantic tension between them becomes palpable.
However, an intriguing third photo from the upcoming episode suggests that unfortunately, budding romance is not the only thing that awaits Yeom Mi Jung this week.
Sitting alone in the dark at work, Yeom Mi Jung tears up as she holds her phone to her ear, piquing viewers’ curiosity as to what news she might have heard to upset her.
To find out what lies in store for Yeom Mi Jung and Mr. Gu, tune in to the next episode of “My Liberation Notes” on April 30 at 10:30 p.m. KST!
