Yoon Kyun Sang Is A Passionate Detective Who Gets Entangled In A Perplexing Case In New Mystery Thriller Drama

Yoon Kyung Sang will be returning to the small screen as a detective!

His newest drama “Rose Mansion” (literal translation) is set in an apartment scheduled for reconstruction and follows Ji Na (Lim Ji Yeon) as she searches for the truth behind her sister’s disappearance. She’s joined by detective Min Soo (Yoon Kyun Sang) as they investigate suspicious neighbors hiding their greed behind ordinary looks and discover unexpected truths in the process.

Yoon Kyun Sang’s character Min Soo is a violent crimes detective who is persistent and doesn’t give up on a case until he solves it. He’s sweet yet charismatic, and as he helps Ji Na find her sister, he’ll fall into an unknown swam of confusion surrounded by suspicious people.

The newly released stills show Min Soo’s charms. He treats a civilian with a warm smile, but when he’s on the field searching for criminals, his expression is dark and intense. He keenly searches his surroundings despite the pouring rain, and the frown on his face piques curiosity about what kind of unusual event he has encountered.

Yoon Kyun Sang described his character, saying, “Min Soo is a hot-blooded detective who jumps in with both feet once he gets a hunch. However, he’s also delicate and warm-hearted. He’s more sincere about the ‘sound of heart’ more than anyone else in the world.”

He added that Min Soo has a certain type of sweetness, meticulousness, tenderness, and precision that no one else has, and he focused on continuously showing his delicate emotions. He added, “I thought a lot about how to show his secret and inner self through action.”

“Rose Mansion” premieres on May 13 via TVING.
