"The Witch" Sequel Unveils Daunting Posters + Confirms June Premiere Date
The sequel to the film “The Witch” has confirmed its release date and dropped daunting new posters!
“The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” follows the story of a young girl who escapes a secret laboratory after being the only one to survive an accident that leaves the lab in ruins. The action film depicts the numerous forces with different motives that gather to chase down the young girl. “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” will hit theaters in Korea on June 15.
The cast includes Shin Si Ah, Park Eun Bin, Seo Eun Soo, Jin Goo, and Sung Yoo Bin, with special appearances by Lee Jong Suk as well as Kim Da Mi and Jo Min Soo, who starred in the first film.
The film is the sequel to “The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion,” a 2018 mystery action film about a questionable accident that leaves numerous dead. The story begins when a mysterious figure approaches high school student Ja Yoon (Kim Da Mi), who has lived a normal life without remembering the past after escaping alone the night of the accident.
The first poster depicts the young girl being used a test subject. While hooked up to numerous tubes, she appears messy and mishandled in her bloody lab coat. The poster reads, “The start of everything.”
Anticipation is rising to see rookie actress Shin Si Ah as the lead of this upcoming film, as it was previously reported that she was chosen among 1,408 competitors for the role.
In the global poster, there is an unidentifiable crowd wearing gas masks as they corner in on the young girl. This poster raises questions of who these people are and why they are so determined to chase down the girl.
“The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” will be released on June 15.
