Watch: PURPLE KISS Covers SHINee And MAMAMOO On "Weekly Idol"
PURPLE KISS showed off their dancing skills on the latest episode of “Weekly Idol”!
During the May 4 episode of the MBC every 1 variety show, the rookie girl group appeared as guests together with their labelmate MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul. Moonbyul performed her new solo track “C.I.T.T (Cheese In The Trap),” while PURPLE KISS performed their B-side “Pretty Psycho,” which they have recently been promoting on music shows.
Instead of taking requests from fans for the artists, as “Weekly Idol” usually does, the show asked Moonbyul and PURPLE KISS to submit requests for one another this week. One of Moonbyul’s requests for PURPLE KISS was that they showcase one of the boy group dance covers that they’re famous for—and PURPLE KISS came through with a powerful cover of SHINee’s 2021 hit “Don’t Call Me.”
Later on, for the program’s signature “Weekly Playlist” segment, PURPLE KISS showed love for MAMAMOO by preparing a special dance cover medley in which they took on the choreographies to “Starry Night,” “Décalcomanie,” “HIP,” “Dingga,” and “Yes I Am.”
