Watch: 'My Teen Girl' Group CLASS:y Covers BLACKPINK, NCT, ITZY, aespa, IVE, Chungha, And More On 'Weekly Idol'

CLASS:y showed off their dancing skills on the latest episode of “Weekly Idol”!

The rookie girl group—which was formed on the survival show “My Teen Girl“—appeared as guests on the May 18 episode of the MBC every 1 variety show, where they performed their debut track “SHUT DOWN” and played a number of fun games with the MCs.

For the program’s signature “Weekly Playlist” segment, CLASS:y prepared a dance cover of BLACKPINK’s debut song “BOOMBAYAH.”

Myung Hyungseo explained, “We’re big fans of BLACKPINK, so since we’re making our debut, we thought it might be nice to cover their debut song.”

Later on in the show, the CLASS:y members played a game in which they had to guess a song by watching the MCs dance to it while covering either the upper or lower half of their bodies. In addition to guessing the song, the idols also had to dance part of the choreography to receive credit for their answer, leading to a bunch of impromptu dance covers.

Some of the songs CLASS:y successfully covered during the game were ITZY’s “WANNABE,” aespa’s “Black Mamba,” NCT DREAM’s “Hot Sauce,” Chungha’s “Snapping,” and IVE’s “ELEVEN.
