NCT's Doyoung And IVE's An Yu Jin Confirmed As MCs For 2022 Dream Concert
It’s official: NCT’s Doyoung and IVE’s An Yu Jin will be hosting the 28th annual Dream Concert!
On May 20, the Korea Entertainment Producer’s Association (KEPA) announced, “NCT’s Doyoung and IVE’s An Yu Jin will be the MCs for [this year’s] Dream Concert.”
Both Doyoung and An Yu Jin have previously displayed their hosting chops on a number of variety shows, and they have also both served as MCs for SBS’s “Inkigayo” (though not at the same time).
This year will mark the first offline Dream Concert in three years: the annual large-scale concert was held online in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but with South Korea recently lifting most of its COVID-19 restrictions, the 2022 Dream Concert will be welcoming back in-person concertgoers.
The lineup for this year’s concert will include NCT DREAM, IVE, Red Velvet, NMIXX, Oh My Girl, Dreamcatcher, STAYC, VICTON, Kep1er, PENTAGON, CIX, Golden Child, Weeekly, AB6IX, CRAVITY, LABOUM, YOUNITE, WEi, ALICE (formerly known as ELRIS), DRIPPIN, LIGHTSUM, EPEX, KINGDOM, TRENDZ, and Lee Mujin.
The 2022 Dream Concert will take place on June 18 at 6 p.m. KST.
In the meantime, watch Doyoung in his drama “Midnight Cafe 3: The Curious Stalker” with subtitles below!
