Lee Jong Suk, Jin Goo, And Seo Eun Soo Have The Same Goal With Different Motives In "The Witch: Part 2. The Other One"
The sequel film to “The Witch” has unveiled new stills of Lee Jong Suk, Jin Goo, and Seo Eun Soo!
“The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” is the sequel to “The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion,” and follows the story of a young girl (played by Shin Si Ah) who escapes a secret laboratory after being the only one to survive an accident that leaves the lab in ruins. The action film depicts the numerous forces with different motives that gather to chase down the young girl.
Here are three different characters who are all after the young girl – each for their own reasons:
1. Seo Eun Soo as head office agent Jo Hyun
Since making her name known through dramas “My Golden Life,” “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes,” and “Missing: The Other Side,” as well as films “On Your Wedding Day” and “Kingmaker: The Fox of the Election,” Seo Eun Soo will be making a bold transformation as Jo Hyun in “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One.”
Through the role of head office agent Jo Hyun, Seo Eun Soo will showcase a completely different image with her sharp gaze, powerful action scenes, and rough way of speaking. Regarding her first high-intensity action film since debut, Seo Eun Soo shared, “I had a lot of concerns and it was difficult, but I got to act as the character I really wanted [to portray], so the pleasure [I got] from filming each and every scene was substantial.”
2. Jin Goo as head boss Yong Doo
Regardless of the project’s genre and the actor’s character, Jin Goo has consistently solidified his identity as an actor with his incredible acting talent. With his role as Yong Doo, Jin Goo will portray his gritty and tough charms.
Yong Doo, who is the boss of all bosses, interrupts the peaceful daily lives of the young girl, as well as siblings Kyung Hee (Park Eun Bin) and Dae Gil (Sung Yoo Bin). He represents an axis of conflict as a dangerous character who wants to eliminate the young girl by any means necessary.
Jin Goo commented, “Compared to the first film, you will be able to see a greater scale and more diverse and vivid characters.”
3. Lee Jong Suk as Jang, the director of the secret laboratory
Lee Jong Suk has starred in dramas and films like “Secret Garden,” “Pinocchio,” and “The Face Reader” that have been both critically-acclaimed and popular among the general public, earning him the title of a trustworthy actor. “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” will be Lee Jong Suk’s first film in five years and he will star as Jang, the director of the secret lab who must chase down the missing girl.
As the director of the secret lab, Jang will go up against Dr. Baek (Jo Min Soo), the initiator of the “witch project.” Jo Min Soo commented on Lee Jong Suk’s acting, “To the point where I honestly can’t believe he’s standing in front of a camera for the first time in awhile, he perfectly immersed into his character.”
