TXT, BTS, Stray Kids, BLACKPINK, And TWICE Sweep Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has released its World Albums chart for the week ending on May 28!
TXT’s new mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” soared to No. 1 on this week’s chart—and that wasn’t the only Billboard chart it topped this week.
Not only did TXT top the World Albums chart, but “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” also swept the No. 1 spot on both Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart. Additionally, the album entered the Billboard 200 at No. 4 with the third-biggest U.S. sales week of any album this year (not just K-pop).
TXT also re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 3 this week—marking their highest ranking on the chart to date.
Meanwhile, BTS landed a total of six albums on this week’s World Albums chart. “Love Yourself: Her” climbed to No. 3, followed by “Map of the Soul: 7” at No. 4, “BE” at No. 6, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 7, “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 12, and “Skool Luv Affair” at No. 14.
Stray Kids’ latest mini album “ODDINARY” stayed strong at No. 8 in its ninth consecutive week on the chart, while BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” rose to No. 11 in its 85th week.
Finally, TWICE’s “Formula of Love O+T=<3” re-entered the chart at No. 15 this week.
Congratulations to TXT, BTS, Stray Kids, BLACKPINK, and TWICE!
