TXT Becomes 2nd Male K-Pop Artist Ever To Chart In Top 10 Of Billboard 200 For 2 Consecutive Weeks

TXT’s latest album continues to go strong in its second week on the Billboard 200!

Last week, TXT achieved their highest ranking yet on Billboard’s famous Top 200 Albums chart with their new mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child,” which debuted at No. 4.

On May 29 local time, Billboard officially announced that “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” had successfully remained in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive week: for the week ending on May 26, the mini album stayed strong at No. 9. According to Luminate (formerly MRC Data), “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” earned a total of 30,500 equivalent album units in the United States in its second week.

TXT has now become the second male K-pop artist in history—and only the third overall—to chart an album in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks, following BTS and BLACKPINK. (TXT’s 2021 album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” also spent two weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 last year, but they were non-consecutive.)

Congratulations to TXT on their amazing achievement!
