Sung Hoon And Shin Dong Wook Express Concern For Im Soo Hyang During Her Pregnancy In "Woori The Virgin"
SBS’s “Woori the Virgin” shared new stills of the upcoming episode!
A remake of the hit American show “Jane the Virgin” (which was itself based on a Venezuelan telenovela), “Woori the Virgin” tells the story of a woman named Oh Woo Ri (played by Im Soo Hyang) who has been strictly maintaining her chastity before marriage but winds up pregnant after an accidental artificial insemination during a medical exam.

Previously, Oh Woo Ri broke up with Lee Kang Jae (Shin Dong Wook), raising questions about how this will impact their upcoming story. Furthermore, Raphael (Sung Hoon) resolved to divorce Lee Ma Ri (Hong Ji Yoon) for the sake of his child.
The newly released stills capture Oh Woo Ri and her family at the hospital. After receiving a call from the hospital, Oh Eun Ran (Hong Eun Hee) and Seo Gwi Nyeo (Yeon Woon Kyung) hurry over to the hospital. Together, they listen seriously to the doctor’s explanation. Raphael also looks surprised as he looks back at the doctor with wide eyes, and Lee Kang Jae appears to have mixed feelings, raising questions about whether Oh Woo Ri is still in good health.
The production team shared, “In episode 7, Oh Woo Ri is on the verge of facing a miscarriage, and [the episode] depicts her fighting to protect the fetus. Please keep watch to see how Oh Woo Ri will overcome the sudden crisis and whether she will be able to protect the fetus.”
More stills capture Oh Woo Ri and Raphael attending a prenatal yoga class together. Raphael reserves the lesson for Oh Woo Ri’s prenatal care, but he unexpectedly ends up participating in couple yoga with her. While Oh Woo Ri concentrates on doing yoga with proper posture, Raphael can’t help but keep his gaze on Oh Woo Ri. Furthermore, Raphael looks embarrassed, while Oh Woo Ri appears slightly uncomfortable as they have to practice more intimate poses.
The final stills capture Oh Eun Ran and Seo Gwi Nyeo meeting with Lee Kang Jae who bows his head as if he is apologetic about something. Oh Eun Ran looks back with an expression that conveys her confusion regarding the situation.
Furthermore, Lee Kang Jae is smiling, but his eyes are filled with sadness. Oh Woo Ri is also near tears, previewing how they will continue to go their separate ways. The production team shared, “Oh Woo Ri and Lee Kang Jae suddenly parted ways and then reunited. Please watch on with interest to see how the ‘sturdy couple’ that received a lot of support will overcome the crisis they will have to face and what developments their breakup will bring to the story.”
The next episode of “Woori the Virgin” airs on May 30 at 10 p.m. KST.
