The highly-anticipated second season of “Yumi’s Cells” has unveiled a new teaser!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi – from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. Kim Go Eun plays the titular role of Yumi, an ordinary woman who struggles with expressing her feelings.

The teaser begins with Yumi’s charming co-worker Yoo Babi (GOT7’s Jinyoung) asking, “Can you wait for me?” A second later, he can’t hide his smile as he says, “I’m happy that you waited for me.”

Yoo Babi continues to sway Yumi’s heart as he keeps calling her name and showing up in front of her, and her cells can’t help but explode with giddy at his sweet comments. However, Yumi is stuck in a dilemma as she’s not ready to accept him just yet. She keeps avoiding him, and she comments, “This is so hard for me.” However, she can’t stop her lips from curling up into a smile.

Then Yumi is spotted in jealousy mode as she overhears Ruby (Lee Yoo Bi) trying to set up Yoo Babi with her friend. Ruby says, “He’s finally going on that blind date with my friend,” and at the news, Yumi’s cells bursts into tears. Towards the end of the clip, Yumi is spotted racing somewhere earnestly, piquing curiosity about how she will deal with this new obstacle in her love life. Yoo Babi’s voiceover says, “If you don’t feel uncomfortable around me, then wait for me.”
