GOT7 Breaks Their 1st-Week Sales Record With New Self-Titled EP
GOT7 has broken their own first-week sales record with their new self-titled EP!
According to Warner Music Korea, GOT7’s new self-titled EP sold over 371,500 copies in the first week of its release from May 23 to 29.
This marks a new first-week sales record for GOT7, who previously sold 270,000 copies in the first week of release for their 2020 album “Breath of Love : Last Piece.”
“GOT7” is the group’s first physical album in a year and a half and their first group release since parting ways with JYP Entertainment in January 2021. Last week, GOT7 topped iTunes Top Albums charts in over 80 different regions, and has since gone on to reach the top of charts in 95 different regions. GOT7 is now only the second K-pop artist to reach No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in over 90 regions.
Their title track “NANANA” has also reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in 71 different regions.
