aespa To Partner With Warner Records In U.S. + Pre-Release English Single In June Ahead Of Comeback
aespa has partnered with Warner Records for their upcoming comeback!
On June 1, SM Entertainment officially announced that they had forged a global partnership with the U.S. record label for the distribution and marketing of aespa’s music.
Through this new partnership, aespa’s upcoming second mini album “Girls” will be released simultaneously in Korea and the United States on July 8.
Additionally, SM Entertainment announced that aespa will be pre-releasing the English-language single “Life’s Too Short” on June 24, two weeks ahead of the mini album’s release. aespa previously gave fans a sneak peek of the single at Coachella, where they performed the new song for the first time back in April.
Warner Records co-chairmen Tom Corson and Aaron Bay-Shuck commented, “Under the leadership of SM founder Lee Soo Man, aespa has already established influence all over the world.”
They added, “We consider it an honor that aespa has joined the Warner Records family as our first K-pop group.”
Meanwhile, aespa teased, “In addition to our new album that will be released this summer, please look forward to finding out what other kinds of news lie ahead in the future.”
