TXT, BTS, GOT7, Stray Kids, And BLACKPINK Claim Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart And More

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on June 4!

TXT’s latest mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” remained No. 1 on the World Albums chart for the second consecutive week. The mini album also spent a second week in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, making TXT only the second male K-pop artist (and only the third overall) ever to chart an album in the top 10 for two consecutive weeks.

Additionally, after topping both charts last week, “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” stayed strong at No. 2 on both Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart this week. The mini album also came in at No. 6 on the Tastemaker Albums chart, while TXT ranked No. 13 on Billboard’s Artist 100.

Meanwhile, BTS once again landed an impressive total of six albums on this week’s World Albums chart. “Map of the Soul: 7” held steady at No. 4, followed by “Love Yourself: Her” at No. 5, “BE” at No. 6, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 7, “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 11, and “Skool Luv Affair” at No. 14.

GOT7’s new self-titled EP “GOT7” entered this week’s World Albums chart at No. 8, in addition to debuting at No. 38 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 67 on the Top Album Sales chart. The group’s new title track “NANANA” also debuted at No. 6 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart.

Stray Kids’ “ODDINARY” stayed strong at No. 9 in its 10th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, where it extended its own record as the longest-charting album of 2022.

Finally, BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” came in at No. 12 in its 86th consecutive week on the chart.

Congratulations to TXT, BTS, GOT7, Stray Kids, and BLACKPINK!
