Hwang In Yeop, Seo Hyun Jin, Bae In Hyuk, And Heo Joon Ho On What To Look Forward To In "Why Her?" Premiere

The stars of SBS’s upcoming drama “Why Her?” have shared their thoughts ahead of tonight’s premiere!

“Why Her?” is a new mystery romance drama starring Seo Hyun Jin as the titular Oh Soo Jae, a coldhearted lawyer who has grown empty after only chasing success, and Hwang In Yeop as law student Gong Chan, who would do anything to protect her. Heo Joon Ho will play Choi Tae Guk, the greedy CEO of Oh Soo Jae’s law firm, while Bae In Hyuk will play his lonely son Choi Yoon Sang.

“As viewers have been waiting a long time [for ‘Why Her?’], we’re working hard to make it an even higher-quality drama,” said Seo Hyun Jin. “There’s lots of great acting by outstanding younger and older actors to be found in ‘Why Her?’, and I also think the glamorous sets and filming locations will add to the fun of watching. Please look forward to it.”

As for what to look forward to in the drama’s highly-anticipated premiere, Hwang In Yeop teased, “From the first episode, Oh Soo Jae will be swept up in a major incident. A key point to watch out for is Heo Joon Ho’s and Seo Hyun Jin’s powerful first appearances [in the drama], as well as their charismatic presence.” He went on to add, “Please also look forward to the scene where Gong Chan and Oh Soo Jae reunite.”

Hwang In Yeop also remarked, “As viewers have been waiting a long time, I will work hard and do my utmost up until the end so that [‘Why Her?’] can be a drama that remains in your memory for a long time.”

Meanwhile, Bae In Hyuk expressed confidence in the drama, declaring, “I think we were able to show you the results of our sweat and hard work.”

He went on to tease, “Starting with a powerful first scene, the plot will unfold in a whirlwind. Please keep a close eye on the life that Oh Soo Jae has lived up until now, as well as her relationship with Choi Tae Guk. There will be many incidents that become the basis of future events in the story, so please don’t miss it, and make sure to tune in.”

Finally, Heo Joon Ho commented, “I think a key point to watch out for is Choi Tae Guk’s first appearance, which shows you just what kind of character Choi Tae Guk is.”

He wittily continued, “We did our utmost so that viewers wouldn’t feel like the time they gave up to watch ‘Why Her?’ was wasted. If you enjoy it, I hope you’ll cheer us on, and if you don’t, please reproach us. I just hope that there will be many people cheering us on and saying that they enjoyed it.”

“Why Her?” premieres on June 3 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Viki.
