Watch: Suzy Finds Herself In Danger After Living Someone Else's Life In Thrilling Teaser For "Anna"

Coupang Play has shared an intriguing first teaser for its upcoming drama “Anna”!

“Anna” will tell the story of Yoo Mi, a woman who tells a small lie and ends up living someone else’s life (played by Suzy).

In the newly released teaser, Yoo Mi emerges from a crashed car with her bag in flames as she says cryptically, “People write lies even in diaries that are read solely by them alone.”

The clip goes on to show glimpses of Yoo Mi’s unglamorous everyday life, surviving off ramen and working all sorts of part-time jobs to pay the bills. While working as a maid, she seems to take notice of an elegant, well-dressed woman in the room. Someone then says in voice-over, “I’m worried about Yoo Mi. She has so many things she wants to do, so many things she wants to eat.”

After Yoo Mi confesses, “I was envious,” the teaser shows her living a drastically different life—conducting interviews with the press, attending high-profile events, and even getting married in a lavish wedding. An unseen friend asks her, “But by the way, do you have two names?”

As things start to go wrong, Yoo Mi finds her life in danger, and she says in voice-over, “I don’t know where to start in explaining this to you. The story of how Lee Yoo Mi became Anna.”

“Anna” will premiere on June 24 at 8 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
