“Our Blues” is an omnibus-style drama set in Jeju Island that tells the sweet, sour, and bitter life stories of a diverse array of characters.

Previously, “Our Blues” focused on the story of Hyun Choon Hee (Go Doo Shim) and her granddaughter Son Eun Ki (Ki So You). One day, Oh Hae Seon (Min Ji Ah) brought her daughter Son Eun Ki to Jeju Island and asked her mother-in-law Hyun Choon Hee to take care of her. Hyun Choon Hee willingly took her granddaughter under her wings without the faintest clue about why her daughter-in-law suddenly wanted her to watch Son Eun Ki.

However, the newly released stills hint that Hyun Choon Hee will discover the truth. Oh Hae Seon actually needed someone to take care of Son Eun Ki while she took care of her husband Son Man Su (Kim Jung Hwan), who had gotten into a car accident.

The photos capture Hyun Choon Hee sobbing with a broken heart. She already lost loved ones before, so she’s afraid something terrible will happen to her one and only son. She tries to grit her teeth to hold back her sadness, but overwhelmed with grief, she can’t help but break down. Son Eun Ki also bursts into tears, and she sobs heavily in the embrace of Kang Ok Dong (Kim Hye Ja). However, despite the painful moment, Son Eun Ki will continue to hope that her parents will come pick her up.

More stills show Hyun Choon Hee, Kang Ok Dong, and Lee Dong Suk (Lee Byung Hun) together, hinting that the drama will finally reveal the story of Kang Ok Dong and Lee Dong Suk. The estranged mother-son duo has been amping up curiosity with their complex history, and the new photos hint their upcoming emotional moments.
