Jo Sung Ha, Son Naeun, Han Joon Woo, And Jun Hye Jin To Join Lee Bo Young In Upcoming Drama
Jo Sung Ha, Son Naeun, Han Joon Woo, and Jun Hye Jin will be joining Lee Bo Young in the upcoming JTBC drama “Agency” (working title)!
Lee Bo Young plays Creative Director (CD) Go Ah In who leads Production Team 2 of VC Planning, a leading advertisement agency. She entered the company as a copywriter who is the only person ever to receive full marks on the entrance exam. Go Ah In strictly abides by her routine, always sporting formal attire and never looking unprofessional. After working like a machine for 19 years, she has become known as the “advertisement queen,” also becoming the company’s first female executive. Go Ah In shocks everyone by aiming to go even further to claim the highest position.
Jo Sung Ha will be playing the role of Choi Chang Soo, VC Planning’s Director of Planning. After majoring in economics at Hankuk University, Choi Chang Soo entered the company through open recruitment, and he continued to succeed without fail. His goal is to become the next CEO, and he has gathered supporters by mentoring junior coworkers from Hankuk University so that they can grow to become CDs. He’s cold and intelligent, but he cannot control Go Ah In in the way he wants, raising anticipation for the interaction between Jo Sung Ha’s and Lee Bo Young’s characters.
Son Naeun will be taking on the role of VC Group’s third generation chaebol Kang Han Na. As an active social media star and influencer, success means gaining independence to Kang Han Na. Although she seems immature by living a flashy life, Kang Han Na has just been waiting for an opportunity to arise. The chance arrives when she is appointed as VC Planning’s Director of Social Media. Seeking to be in the group’s order of succession, Kang Han Na’s genius intuition tells her to use Go Ah In.
Han Joon Woo will be playing Park Young Woo who assists Kang Han Na by her side. Park Young Woo works as a secretary for VC Group, and he has protected Kang Han Na from her days studying abroad for her MBA (Masters of Business Administration) as her private tutor and bodyguard. Park Young Woo acts as her loyal right-hand man, coming up with a solution every time Kang Han Na faces a crisis, even by using physical means. Han Joon Woo previously captivated viewers in “Melo Is My Nature,” “Through the Darkness,” “Pachinko,” and more.
Finally, Jun Hye Jin will play Jo Eun Jung, a copywriter for Planning Team 2. As a working mom with a five-year-old son, she has a slightly more difficult office life but gets a call from the top CD Go Ah In. Despite everyone trying to stop her, Jo Eun Jung chooses Go Ah In without hesitation in order to make herself known. However, as her workload explosively increases, so do the complaints of her family. Having always had to make decisions between family and work, she becomes curious about the life of her role model who only lives to succeed. Recently, Jun Hye Jin impressed with her role as Ji Hyun Ah in “My Liberation Notes.”
The production team shared, “From Lee Bo Young to Jun Hye Jin, it is a cast that is perfectly befitting of each of the characters even from just their images. From there, each and every one of the actor’s acting experience is so deep, creating an ideal lineup. We will show the vivid story of advertisers who fiercely walk their own paths towards their goal of success in the world of advertising which is like thin ice. Please look forward to it.”
“Agency” will premiere in the first half of 2023.
