2PM's Lee Junho In Talks To Star In Upcoming Action-Romance Drama
2PM’s Lee Junho has received a casting offer for a new drama!
On June 10, it was reported that Lee Junho had received an offer to play the lead role in the upcoming drama “Unwritten Law” (literal translation).
“Unwritten Law” is an action drama that mixes in the love story between an underprivileged, neglected man and an unknown musical actress. It is directed by Choi Jae Hoon of films “The Swordsman,” “Hypnosis,” and “The Killer: A Girl Who Deserves To Die.” Although “Unwritten Law” was also originally set to be a film, the script was revised into a six-episode drama and is in discussion to be broadcast on OTT (over the top) platforms.
In response to these reports, a representative from Lee Junho’s agency JYP Entertainment shared, “‘Unwritten Law’ is one of the projects we’ve received an offer for. Nothing has been confirmed.”
Lee Junho last starred in the hit drama “The Red Sleeve” which he won numerous awards for, including the Top Excellence Award at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards, Best Actor at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards, and Best Actor at the 34th Korea PD Awards.
Currently, Lee Junho is awaiting filming for his upcoming romantic comedy drama “King the Land” (working title) alongside Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA, where he will play chaebol heir Goo Won.
