BTS's 'Yet To Come' Breaks Record For Biggest Spotify Debut By A Korean-Language Song

BTS has just made Spotify history!

On June 10, BTS made their highly-anticipated comeback with their anthology album “Proof” and its brand-new title track “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment).” The album features three new songs—”Run BTS,” “For Youth,” and “Yet to Come”—alongside many of BTS’s past hits.

In the first day of the album’s release, all of the new tracks from “Proof” made high-ranking debuts on Spotify’s daily Global Top 200 chart, with many of the older songs featured on the album entering the chart as well.

Including BTS and Coldplay’s hit collab “My Universe,” BTS landed an impressive total of 28 different songs on the Global Top 200 for June 10.

Their new title track “Yet to Come” debuted at No. 3 on the daily global chart after racking up 7,178,605 streams on just its first day—breaking BTS’s own record for the highest number of first-day streams of any Korean-language song released on Spotify.

Meanwhile, BTS’s new B-side “Run BTS” entered the chart at No. 6, “For Youth” at No. 11, and “Born Singer” at No. 16.

As for BTS’s previously released tracks, “Dynamite” shot back up to No. 47, followed by “Butter” at No. 50, “My Universe” at No. 68, “No More Dream” at No. 69, “Boy With Luv” (featuring Halsey) at No. 85, “Boy in Luv” at No. 103, “N.O” at No. 104, “I NEED U” at No. 108, “Life Goes On” at No. 109, “Fake Love” at No. 112, “Intro: Persona” at No. 116, “RUN” at No. 119, “Blood Sweat & Tears” at No. 123, “Danger” at No. 128, “Spring Day” at No. 130, “FIRE” at No. 143, “ON” at No. 145, “DNA” at No. 146, “Euphoria” at No. 149, “Stay” at No. 158, “Moon” at No. 174, “IDOL” at No. 177, “Filter” at No. 183, and “Intro: Singularity” at No. 197.
